The Sparkfun Qduino Mini - Arduino Dev Board is a compact, Arduino-compatible board designed for seamless integration into various electronics projects. It features a built-in battery connector and charger, along with a fuel gauge that indicates when the battery requires recharging. This board is particularly suitable for applications where space and weight are critical, such as in quadcopters, drones, or high-altitude balloon projects.
The Qduino Mini is 100% open source, facilitating easy creation and programming of circuits. It includes an automatic battery charging circuit that allows simultaneous charging and programming via USB, eliminating the need for an external charger. The integrated battery fuel gauge provides a simple monitoring system to alert users when the battery needs recharging. Additionally, the board is breadboard compatible and equipped with two RGB LEDs—one for status indication and another that is user-programmable.
